gun Dog Training

The bond between a hunter and their canine companion is one of the most rewarding partnerships in the uplands. This partnership, however, is not innate; it is forged through patience, consistency, and expert Dog Training. A reliable hunting dog elevates the outdoor experience. It ensures ethical harvest and efficient recovery. We recognize the need for specialized instruction that empowers every member to develop a finished Gun Dog. Comprehensive Dog Training programs are designed to build confidence in both the handler and the animal. Mastering this skill is as vital as learning to shoot or navigate the field. It is a cornerstone of the modern upland lifestyle.

Pierre Urutia has been a professional Gun Dog trainer since 1993. He is active in AKC Pointing Dog Field Trials, Hunt Tests and NAVHDA Field tests. He has trained and handled many dogs to the level of Field Champion, Master Hunter and Utility level - NAVHDA.
